聚丙烯酸胺（PAM）是目前世界上生产量最大的合成水溶性高聚物之一．它具有极高的分子量，其水溶液浓度即使很低，也能呈现高粘性．因而在化工、医药、食品、采油等工业中被广泛用作增粘剂，特别是用于三次采油中以提高原油采收率．PAM水溶液的粘度是决定其使用效。

聚丙烯酰胺用途（PAM purposes）
1.工业废水处理
    特别是对于悬浮颗粒，较粗、浓度高、粒子带阳电荷，水的PH值为中性或碱性的污水，钢铁厂废水，电镀厂废水，冶金废水，洗煤废水等污水处理，效果最好。
